Author Ian Collis is reminding us all about the best of TV in the 50s, 60s and 70s in his new book, Retro TV

Variety shows, quiz shows, dramas, sitcoms, western ‘horse operas’ and cop classics are featured along with essential information and little- known facts on more than 200 shows.

Ian, a leading authority on sporting history and statistics a has one of the largest and most diverse collections of memorabilia and associated ephemera, covering sport, and the history of television. He is also the author of 22 books, including: Retro Sydney, The Way We Used to Live (2013), St George: Eleven Golden Years of the Dragons (2013), Cricket Through the Decades (2012), and Rugby League Through the Decades (2011).
