Bettina Deda is an interior stylist and also the author of Downsize With Style, a book that deals with a common problem for “empty nesters”.
While downsizing is an issue that tends to affect every individual at some point in their life, it’s especially tough for empty nesters whose possessions may carry a heavy sentimental value.
For this reason, Bettina is hosting a new workshop – Downsizing 101 – specifically for people who struggle when it comes to cutting back. The workshop will address how to prevent procrastinating and begin de-cluttering, prioritising and optimising the space you have.
The event is spread over half a day and incorporates interactive learning sessions with expert advice, where participants will be taught creative exercises to help them make the most of minimal – it’s all about finding your personal decorating style. Those attending will also have a chance to discuss any questions they have, to share their experiences and to chat with those in similar situations.
The first workshop will take place between 10am-1:30pm on Saturday, November 22 at Club Totem, Stockland Balgowlah in New South Wales.
If you’re interested in booking a seat, email Bettina at firstname.lastname@example.org or fill out the form on her website www.bdcolourdesign.net.au/contact-us/
